I was offered a sweatshirt last night while standing in line for a bar. It was cold night. I accepted the pullover and said “Thank you- I truly feel blessed. I feel like Jessica Simpson when she was married to Nick Lachey.” 

The phrase “I feel truly blessed” or “I feel so blessed” are favorites of pop stars- ESPECIALLY J. Simps. Like once you know you’ve made it- you MUST tell Carson Daly on TRL how blessed you feel. 

I think I’m especially drawn to this phrase right now because I recently got a pretty bold pair of Jessica Simpson wedges and everytime I look at them I think of how many times I will fall in them while I own them and also how incredibly blessed I feel.
